Case Study: Skiljo.com WordPress Website Development & Deployment

Project Overview: Skiljo.com required a new website to showcase their products and services. As the lead developer, I was tasked with building the entire site, ensuring it was visually appealing, responsive, and easy to manage. Additionally, I took responsibility for deploying the site on a private hosting environment and maintaining it post-launch.

Objectives:

  • Design and develop a user-friendly, visually engaging website that aligns with Skiljo’s brand.
  • Ensure responsive design across all devices.
  • Implement a smooth and easy-to-use content management system via WordPress.
  • Deploy the website to a private hosting environment and manage it post-launch.

1. Website Development

I started by gathering all necessary requirements from Skiljo's team to ensure the design reflected their brand's aesthetics and goals. I utilized WordPress to create a highly customizable site that allowed easy content management, keeping the admin interface simple and intuitive.

Key Features Developed:

  • Custom Theme: I developed a custom WordPress theme that matched the desired look and feel of the brand. I implemented clean, modular code for easy updates and maintenance.
  • Responsive Design: The website was built to be fully responsive across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Content Management: WordPress was configured with custom post types, page templates, and intuitive editing tools, allowing the Skiljo team to manage content effortlessly.

2. Private Hosting Deployment
