I'm a web developer from Split, Croatia. But beyond that, I'm an extrovert, a people person, and someone who genuinely enjoys good conversation. Whether it's tech, design, philosophy, or just the best way to make a killer steak, I'm always up for a chat. I'm naturally curious and love exploring new things, which has made web development the perfect playground for me.
At home, I'm surrounded by my wonderful little crew: my wife Ružica, who keeps our home warm and our plates full of delicious meals, and our two incredible daughters, Maša and Paula. Oh, and let’s not forget Minnie, our energetic border collie, who keeps us all on our toes.
My love for web development started back in 2013 when I built a website for my mom’s company, Ichtisonline.com. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, but I quickly realized that I loved bringing ideas to life on a screen. What started as a hobby soon turned into a passion and, eventually, a career.
Through the years, I took on multiple freelance projects, built sites for my local community, and kept learning and improving along the way. But at some point, I wanted more than just building things alone—I wanted to be part of a team. Real-time collaboration, bouncing ideas off designers, working with product owners, and solving complex challenges with fellow developers—that’s what truly excites me. So, I jumped into the world of professional development, and I haven’t looked back since.
Over the past five years, I’ve grown a lot as a web developer, and some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned include:
I like to keep things simple. That doesn’t mean I shy away from complexity—I just prefer to break it down into manageable, logical pieces. This philosophy applies to both my personal and professional life. I believe in a “light” approach, where things don’t need to be overcomplicated to be effective.
At the end of the day, I’m here to build great experiences, solve real problems, and create web applications that not only work but feel good to use. If that sounds like something you're into, let’s connect!
